My Students

The students at Centennial Elementary are active learners. My students walk into music and they are ready to learn. They show excitement and enthusiasm when learning something new. My students are ready to help whenever possible.

The students I have are loving, caring, and responsible.

They are special because they are welcoming. They cheer each other to success. These students work hard for what they get. My students love opportunities to learn new things. They are willing to try new things even if they do not succeed the first time. My students are rock stars!

My Project

This music rug will enhance student learning in my music classroom. There is a space for every student in each class. In music kindergarten is required to learn how to make a circle and this rug will help accomplish that objective. This rug will contribute to lesson plans that teach note reading as well. Students are able to see and interact with a music staff on this rug. This music rug not only shows the students where to sit, it shows them music symbols they have not learned yet. A music rug like this will be inviting to the students.
