My Students

Our school is embarking on a new way of learning and we are very excited! We want our students to be in control of their learning by questioning what they've read. In order to achieve this goal we need 3 iPad tablets. This will enable our young learners to soar!

Our school serves a diverse student population from grades 1-5.

Together we teach a very dynamic group of first graders in an inclusion setting. We adore our first graders and their eagerness to learn new things. They are very inquisitive and have really enjoyed all of the inquiry lessons we've done so far this year. They are becoming experts at questioning what they've read. We love seeing them learn and grow from this experience.

My Project

My students need these iPads to connect to the world around them. I want my classroom to be an environment where 21st Century Learning takes place through keeping up with current events and collaborating with their peers through blogging, Skype, and DOGO news. Students would use these tablets for educational learning as well as for research projects and implementing different ways for my students to present their information. I want my students to reflect on their learning by having tools to be innovative. These iPads will create a new dynamic in my classroom in ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science.
