This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At our school, Leadership is entwined into everything we do! We focus on the 7 Habits for Highly Effective Kids, and it is a very big part of our curriculum. We love to focus on the positive in everything and are always encouraging students to strive for their goals. The students in my class strive for excellence every single day. I love the family environment that has developed in my classroom.

My kids love to read and write and are always excited to think critically and solve problems.

They love working on projects and are always proud when they are able to show off all of their hard work. They are a wonderful group of students and they hold a special space in my heart.

My Project

We will be holding a "Publishing Party" in the school, where other teachers and students, as well as parents, will be invited to come see books my students have written.

These materials will be used to help print, laminate and bind the books to help my little authors' books look as realistic as possible.

The goal is for my students to feel they have created something that they can actually picture being in a book store or library. Some of the materials in my project include a page binder, laminating sheets and ink. This projects is a wonderful way to help my students realize they ARE authors and they can do anything they set their minds to.
