My Students

I have 17 enthusiastic students in my afternoon kindergarten class. All of my students love learning and coming to school. Our school district has the privilege, through this pandemic, to attend school daily. We have precautionary measures in place so that each child can learn in a safe environment. Through these times of uncertainty I want to ensure that my class has all the means necessary to have a productive, organized, and functioning classroom. There is a large gap between tuition full day kindergarten and half day kindergarten. Our students are expected to learn the same material in a shorter amount of time. ESGI, Educational Software for Guided Instruction, is a time-saving assessment solution to make assessing, progress monitoring, and individual instruction easier for students. With this program, I could use data to properly drive instruction for efficient use of the limited amount of time students have at school. I hope that this project can help provide the items needed so this school year can proceed with high hopes, stability, and innumerous progress despite our current hurdles.

My Project

ESGI software is a one-on-one time saving assessment tool that helps teachers create tests, match current content areas of teaching, differentiate instruction, inform parents, and show growth over time.

With all the lost time, so far, throughout this school year going back and forth from virtual and face to face instruction, this tool will help utilize the time I have with students.

It will provide updated and accurate information, it will give my students a chance to fill the gap between some of the challenges and disadvantages they face as only being able to attend half day kindergarten.
