My students need an LCD Projector with a cable and batteries to view video clips, view images, and display electronic projects such as group constructed power point demonstrations.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Thomas's classroom raised $168

My Students
Successful education must be a multimedia affair. Students must be able to see many different things in the classroom. Pictures, video clips, and the presentation of student created projects will be able to be seen through this projector.
Often, when teachers write grant proposals, they try to tell potential donors about how their students are special and different.
My students are not. They need access to technology just like the kids whose family can provide all of the computers and gadgets. They need to develop skills in acquiring and processing information just like all other students. They need to be able to create with technology the same as every other kid in America.
My Project
Geography is a class that depends on using a lot of maps. We need to be able to see them as a whole group. When my students create a PowerPoint or some other electronic presentation, they need to share it with the class. To do these things our classroom must have a reliable projector connected to a computer, a cable to connect the projector to the computer, and batteries for the remote control.
You can know that these special kids have another chance to be successful and encouraged in school.
You can know that these kids will be touched by the fact that someone cared enough to provide this equipment. Thank you!
