This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a band and/or orchestra director, you hope to have at least a handful of students that are driven by their love for music. A drive to be the best that they can be and have a realization of where music can take them. I'm very blessed to teach where not a handful, but the majority of my students feel this way. They're amazing kids and I want the best for them.

Southeast Middle School is a Title I school where almost all of our students use school owned instruments.

This project will help them to be able to maintain the instruments in good playing condition, giving the best opportunity for success.
