This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love the chair pockets to help my students keep organized. We often have way too many things to try to fit inside of their desks. This would eliminate the time I’m wasting each day collecting materials and passing out materials. The classroom library would help me to get the kids reading on grade level sooner. I would love to increase reading fluency by encouraging reading 20 minutes each night at home. I can send them home with a book and a reading log for their parents to fill out during the week.
