This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very bright with the potential for significant growth. They are students from low socio-economic status but I have the ability to grow and progress.
We serve students with disabilities and new English language learners.
The technology we are looking to get funded for will help close the achievement gap for equitable education.
In order to do so, I am taking the initiative to help them with your help! Thank you in advance for your kindness and dedication to educational equity and success for all!
My Project
Mr. Bensetra and Ms. Portillo are working hard to help students during the dawn of a new educational era. With the technology to support remote/virtual/blended learning and your support and help, we can make this dream a reality for struggling inner city students who don't have the resources and/or access to technology.
The materials requested will be used to help students during blended in-person learning and remote/virtual instruction.
This will help close the education equity gap that exists with urban students at NYC public schools.
We can help unleash our student's potential by giving them the tools they need to succeed!
