Moving With the Wii!!

My students need a Wii Game System and 3 wirelesss controllers to get moving in the classroom.

My Students

It is that time of year again....the rain has moved in and the snow is not far off. The temperature is dropping and we must move indoors for our physical fitness activities.

I serve twenty, first grade students who live in the heart of the mountains of Kentucky.

They are bright, energetic, and very active children. They love to play out back on the ball courts, swings, and play center. They even enjoy the walking track. However, it is hard to stay in shape when you are stuck indoors.

My Project

I'm requesting a Wii Game Console and 3 wireless remotes in hopes of being able to provide them with physical activities indoors during the cold and rainy days. I have a Let's Dance 2 software game that will allow, not just one student, but all students an opportunity to get up and move.

The rain and snow doesn't seem to sound so bad when one has physical activities to enjoy indoors.

These materials will get my students up and moving, thus promoting the physical fitness needed for their growing bodies. Make it a reality by supporting this project---MY STUDENTS!!
