My Project
I teach music to K-5 students. Included with those classes are students with special needs. Boomwhackers are very easy for any child to hold and make music! Students of every age enjoy using them to play along to the beat. Parachutes are another good way to keep the beat while having a good time. It is fun to get outside and choreograph parachute routines to popular, exciting music. When doing this activity, students have to work collaboratively and work as a team. By funding this project, you are helping over 500 energetic, enthusiastic students find the joy of music!
