This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 10 fabulous Math Resource students, who while they are in 6th grade, started with preK-2nd grade skills last September! After much hard work during class and after school programming, our recent test scored today showed a range of 1 month up to 1.5 years of growth! Our students are at or below the poverty level and don't have tablets at home to complete our much needed online math exercises. With this one resource, and daily at-home practice, they will no doubt improve their math skills to math their current grade level!
