My Students

We have some awesome 8th graders at my school. Each one of them is unique and special in their own way. This year has been a year where they have had some challenges to face because of the pandemic that we are all currently facing.

These students are facing a major crisis, and the world around them is in chaos.

My Project

These materials in my project will be used as gifts for our 8th grade students as they leave middle school. These are supplies that they can use next year in high school as they begin to take different classes and continue on their educational journey. The gifts include pencils, pens, a composition notebook, etc. These items can assist them in any class they take, and can hopefully mark off some "supplies" that they will need for high school next year.

Our 8th grade students have had a different year with not being at school full time or having to complete their school year completely on-line.

The pandemic that we are currently facing has thrown their whole world into chaos. Our teachers want to be able to provide these gifts to students at the end of the year because it is our hope that they can have some type of "normalcy"--because nothing about this school year has been normal!
