My Project
At our Title 1 all-girls school in Brooklyn, we believe that mental health is just as important as academic success. Our "Moving Minds" project aims to support student well-being through engaging movement activities like building with Legos, dancing, and jumping rope. These activities foster creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, providing a positive outlet for stress and anxiety.
By incorporating movement into our school culture, we aim to empower our students to build resilience, improve focus, and enhance their overall mental health.
