This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a great group of students who want to be inspired to do our best to be active in and out of the Physical Education class. Our teachers come to school prepared every day with new activities to keep us moving. We told our teachers hat better way to get us moving than to move to music.
Our school is ready to lift off this school year and we want our teachers to have what they need to lift off as well.

My Project
What do we want? To move! When do we want it? Now! These materials at the request of the Physical Education students are meant to get them moving for 60 minutes everyday in PE class.
The two speaker systems we are requesting will help two classes on a daily basis begin an aerobic dance, Zumba and dance curriculum in our PE classes.
Learning how to be active in their PE classes will keep our students motivated to continue moving even after class is over. We want to keep our students active and interested in what they are learning and these items will help accomplish that and bring in new curriculum to the classroom.
The 6th, 7th and 8th grade students believe that PE is important and we have stressed the importance of moving at least 60 minutes every day in order to increase their metabolism and increase the number of calories they are burning everyday.
We teach nutrition and the importance of moving their body on a daily basis. When music is turned on they tune in to the lesson.
