Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are some of the most resilient, persistent, talented, and loving students in the nation. Throughout the pandemic, they persevered and advocated for their learning both musically and academically. We are happy to be back in-person and soon to be hosting our first in-person concert in two years.
My Project
We have been fortunate this year to receive more string instruments through DonorsChoose. As we have received more instruments, we now need storage racks to safely and efficiently store the instruments. We want to make sure that instruments are not placed on the floor or in a place where they cannot maintain their tuning or will be damaged. The storage racks will help us organize the instruments but class and keep them in shape for many years to come. The racks will ensure that these instruments can be used for many years to come. We have no doubt with the the supplies we need, students will thrive, not only musically but also academically.
