Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our day starts with our usual journal entry, "How can I make my day better today?" At the end of the school year, I have a goal of having my students have self-confidence. Feeling great is one way to start.
I have amazing students that sometimes experience the best they can experience through their school day hours.
Poverty is a big key in our fight to achieve learning goals. Language barriers and low economic status interfere with the help they can get from home. Most of my students are from immigrated parents or immigrants themselves. Help my students achieve by having the best they can in their classroom.
My Project
The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom making it portable is great for group activities, especially in writing. Having use of rolling drawers is also great when working in groups, students can take their materials with them. During this pandemic it has been hard to have students share. That's why having enough ipad chargers, scissors, and other daily material is a great way to have students focused and staying on task. It eliminates distractions. To top off a great day, we must rewards students to keep them motivated, that's why we are asking for treats and games for students to enjoy in class.
