My students need some flexibility in their seating! Our school is designed for 21st century learners that are constantly moving around as they collaborate, grow and learn from each other.

My Students

Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and are considered "at-risk" despite the prominent neighborhood in which our school lies, however these 21st century learners are no different than you and I. Regardless of what goes on outside of our classroom walls they walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn and excited for what is in store for them that day.

They are incredibly selfless as they show kindness to one another, help a friend in need and cheer one another on, and wearing some of the biggest smiles I've ever seen!

My Project

These wobble stools will make a great addition to our classroom as we transition from traditional seating into the 21st century. Four legged chairs are quickly becoming things of the past! Stools make all the difference in students learning as they promote engagement, collaboration with others, and flexibility as they can easily be moved to work in any place around the room. Wobble stools allow students to move and grove in their seat in order to build and maintain a better focus, strengthen their stamina and work at their own pace as well as a space that promotes student choice.
