My Students

My students are very loving and appreciative this year. I have a class of 23 mixed-race students. More than half my class attends after-school care. Most my students are Language Learners, so it can be hard to get parent involvement. Some of my students come from out of district so their commutes can be very long. My school generally does a great job to get parents involved and the community is very willing to help with school-wide events.

My Project

My kindergarteners need to constantly move. To keep their focus while also allowing them to get their energy out, these chairs would help a bunch. These can promote an incentive to want to sit at their desks to work on an assignment. I have two students who are diagnosed with ADHD that can definitely benefit from these chairs. My high-energy students can also benefit from sitting on these chairs. The wobble chairs can help focus the energy on sitting rather than walking around. I would use the chairs for each team with a rotating schedule to be fair to all.
