My Students

My third-grade classroom is full of movers and shakers! That's what I love about them. I don't believe in squashing their personalities but adapting to them so they learn to become successful members of our society knowing how to cope with the quirks that make them unique.

An unknown author wrote, "from small beginnings come great things".

Third grade is where the magic begins to happen. Students become readers, mathematicians, writers, and scientists. I want to be able to give the tools to become all of these.

My Project

The movers and shakers in my class require movement. Learniture Active Learning Stools have a convex base to allow students movement without disrupting the class. The students are allowed 360-degree rocking while sitting at their desk or brainstorming with a group. This will encourage students to​ focus through activity. Not only does it allow students movement, it also helps strengthen muscles.

Our classroom is a "Be Kind" class so everyone is accepted despite their ability, background, or belief.

Accepting students personalities and adapting to them is a part of our safe environment. Using Learniture Active Learning Stools will help my movers and shakers!
