Movers and Groovers

Help me give my students flexible seating options. Movable desks that fit together to make tables as well as bouncy chairs will give my classroom more flexibility.

My Students

My students are wonderful, beautiful, strong, stubborn, independent, loud, nerdy, athletic, patriotic, and kind. I want all of them to love coming to school every single day.

I have met some of the best people I will ever know because I am their teacher.

They bless me every single day with the amazing and unique ideas, problems, and solutions they present to me. If children are our future, our future is going to be amazing with these kids at the helm!

Our school is a full Title I school and more than 50% of our students get free lunch. I can't change that statistic, but what I can do is to inspire them, teach them, nurture them, and love them. Work hard, play hard. That is my classroom motto. I don't always have the resources necessary to make the academic times fun, but I've been blessed by donors all over America!

My Project

The materials supplied by the generous Donor's Choose community will allow my children to work in groups that best suit them in that particular moment. Because the desks are on wheels and fit together, moving them about the classroom will be a piece of cake. When we move desks now in order to create new groups, it seems like it takes forever because the desks don't slide easily.

Balance Ball Seats will truly help to keep us balanced!

Not only are they something different than a typical school day chair, they will give my wiggly kids a way to get rid of some energy. Between flexible groups and ball seats, more of my students will be able to have an education that it more tailored for them!
