My Students

I am a traveling adapted physical education teacher for students with special needs. Every day, my teaching situation can be different. My student's age range goes from 3-22 years old. They have various abilities and challenges, but every day with them is rewarding. When I am with my students, I try and lead them to a healthy and active lifestyle.

By helping them improve their skills through a specialized physical education program, they will be on the path to success.

They are always willing to try their best and it is a joy to be on this journey with them.

My Project

As an Adapted Physical Education teacher, I am always trying to find ways to grow and improve as a teacher. Unfortunately, there are not many opportunities for professional development, due to the sparse number of my colleagues across the state. But luckily every year there is an amazing conference to network and grow professionally.

At this conference, I hope to continue to grow to provide the highest quality physical education programs for my students with disabilities.

I will gain more knowledge and understanding of how to maximize student skill development and how to foster a desire to lead a healthy, active, and productive lifestyle. My students will greatly benefit from my continued professional development.
