Help me give my students a physical model of our solar system so they can better understand the movement of celestial bodies.

My Project
What does it mean that the planets in our solar system are on one plane? What’s the big deal the some planets are bigger than others? Why does it matter that some objects in space rotate and others don’t? Being able to regurgitate facts and the conceptual knowledge of those facts are two very different phenomena. My aim as an educator is to help my students wonder and look forward to learning about our universe by first understanding that, the more we learn, the more we realize we only understand a small percentage of our universe, from the macroscale to the microscale!
