My Students

My 5th grade class is full of 22 energetic and full of life students. We have a diverse class when many different learning needs that have to be met throughout the day. My class has three students with special learning needs and a diverse range of students that are below grade level and meeting grade level.

My 5th graders are shaping their minds to be independent and think on their own.

They are engaging in difficult projects and lessons that are preparing for the next jump in their education to middle school next year.

My Project

The hokki stools will be a way for my students to have movement when they need it. These stools can bring movement to the students that need it but will not cause a distraction to the students that do not.

By donating to our project, it will increase students engagement and excitement to learn.

We would use these in small groups situations so students can get the most out of their differentiated learning time. They will be engaged in the learning and avoid distracting others that are trying to learn. The chairs are easy to move so that no matter where they go they can add to the success of my learners.
