My kindergarteners are all extremely special to me. They are full of character and energy. They all come from a suburban community. The community has a good mix of lower class and under-privileged families. At the school where I work, all students get free breakfast and lunch. This year, I have more boys than girls in my class.
There is a lot of energy to be spent during our day.
I have some boys that have to be moving all the time. My students are all hard-working. They like to help one another and take pride in being very proactive in their learning!
I chose two different items for my class. The 1st and most important are the wobble chairs. These chairs will help students in my room that need to always be moving. The 2nd item is construction paper for projects. My classroom never has enough construction paper.
The wobble chairs will help keep some of my students in one place, while still being able to move.
I have seen them being used before and I do believe they really work. I need to give students the ability to move without getting up and bothering others. These chairs will help make this movement possible.
