My Students

With fewer and fewer opportunities to move throughout the day, I want to provide flexible seating choices to my students to develop core strength. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners and would benefit from having movement opportunities built into their learning experience!

My fourth graders are active, busy learners.

With only one recess per day, we look for many opportunities through out our day for stretch breaks, movement learning and dance parties! The students are very creative about finding fun ways to move our bodies during our stretch breaks and love to take turns leading our class yoga breaks!

Flexible seating options provide students with the power of choice.

It also creates a stronger community as students come together in a variety of learning groups throughout the day at various seating options.

These tools will allow students to build more movement into their day. With only one recess, students are craving the ability to move while at school. Research shows when students are able to move, they are better able to focus!
