it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, I have a group of incredible students who often find it challenging to stay still during lessons.
Many of my students have unique learning needs that require them to move in order to stay focused, but traditional seating options don’t always support their need for physical engagement.
That’s why I’m asking for your help to provide seat fidget bands and wobble cushions to support these active learners!
Seat fidget bands are stretchy, quiet bands that attach to the legs of desks and allow students to move their feet without disrupting the class. This simple tool gives students a discreet way to release pent-up energy, which helps them stay focused and engaged in their learning. Whether it’s tapping their feet or gently rocking back and forth, fidget bands provide the movement they need without distracting others.
Wobble cushions are another great solution. These inflatable cushions allow students to wiggle, rock, or shift their weight while seated. They provide sensory feedback and a form of movement that helps students channel their energy in a controlled way. By using these cushions, students can improve posture and increase attention span, making it easier for them to stay focused on the lesson.
Together, these tools will create a classroom environment that supports both movement and focus, giving my students the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them. By providing fidget bands and wobble cushions, you’ll help create a more inclusive and effective learning space where every student can thrive.
