My Students

My students are fun, energetic, creative, and eager to learn! They come from different ethnic backgrounds and vary in almost every way, yet they are all eager to learn and to participate in their education. These students are willing to take risks and learn from their mistakes so that they can progress in their educational goals.

While all of my students are eager to learn, they learn in different ways.

Whenever I create a lesson, I try to encompass an auditory, visual, and kinesthetic component to the lesson so that I can reach as many learning styles as possible. Having additional resources helps me reach more students and create productive learning environments.

My Project

This grant is to help me acquire wobble chairs for my classroom. Wobble chairs are an alternative seating option for students who have a difficult time sitting still while working at their desks. Many students struggle to sit for and work quietly and their desks. This is particularly difficult for students who are active learners and need to move.

By providing this product for my students they will be able to wiggle and rock in their seat without risk of tipping over in their chair.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for me to provide a safe, alternative seating option to the standard desk chair.

I have also included in this grant a mailbox system for my classroom. This mailbox will help facilitate my classroom management and overall organization within my room. A well run classroom with clear procedures is a happy classroom.
