This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so proud to show off their hard work on their barred instruments, but the only place we can put our instruments in our performance space is on the floor. These stands will allow our audiences to see our students making beautiful music and keep our instruments safer.

My students are hard-working individuals that do a lot of work on their own.

They are go-getter's and constantly want to get better musically and personally. They thrive on achieving challenging musical pieces! The school that they attend does everything to support these inspirational students. The best way we can do this is by letting them show off their hard work! Allowing them to bask in the spotlight and making sure that their hard work is showcased in the best way!

My Project

To allow for my students work to shine it has to be seen by the audience! Right now in our performance space the instruments have to be placed on the floor so the audience is able to hear the piece, but not see the students play the piece of music. Putting our instruments on stands will allow the audience to be able to see the students in action and really allow their hard work to be noticed and celebrated. These stands will also provide safety to our instruments that have to be transported back and forth between the music room and our performance space. And to help get the instruments off the floor will also provide more safety for our students as they maneuver around the instruments in the music room and in the performance space.

These instruments have been well loved by many students and need to last a long time.

Putting them on stands will prolong the life of the instruments. It will allow for my students to have proper posture while playing the instruments instead of being hunched over on the floor. And most importantly these stands will allow for my students to showcase their musical talents in the best way possible.
