This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recess is a time when students can choose to move their bodies. Recess equipment such as these discs, playground balls, and exercise dice will help them move for sixty minutes or more daily. Research shows that getting sixty minutes of movement daily aides a child in mental and physical health. Recess equipment provides a fun and safe recess. Students also love practicing what they learn during physical education classes during recess. Some students don’t have equipment at home and school is the only time they have access to equipment. Please help us provide the movement that kids need during their school day.
