Move, Groove, and Learn!

Help me give my students materials to bring movement and fun to their learning: karaoke for presentations, balls/parachute for play and teamwork, a punching bag for “Punch-u-ation”, portable desks for flexible seating, and Tie-dye for a 1960s party.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their energy, creativity, and willingness to try new things.

Middle school students learn best when lessons are active, hands-on, and engaging.

The karaoke machine helps them build confidence and communication skills as they present and share ideas. It is also used in our 1960s day party. We will be learning about the 1960s through the historical fiction book "The Wednesday Wars." After finishing the book, we will be having an application party where students will tie-dye t-shirts, sing 1960s songs, and enjoy racing and food.

The balls and the parachute encourage teamwork, movement, and cooperation.

The heavy punching bag will be used for our “Punch-u-ation” grammar unit and will bring excitement to learning punctuation.

Portable desks offer flexible seating so students can choose where they work best.

The sensory and organizational tools ensure everyone can fully participate and stay focused, making learning inclusive and meaningful.
