We are a K-5 elementary school in an urban setting. There are about 300 students who come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and from neighborhoods all over the city. 100% of the students receive free lunch and breakfast.
My students LOVE TO LEARN and MOVE and are always so full of energy and cannot wait to come to health and physical education class.
We strive to provide a quality education to help develop healthy, well-rounded, respectable students who work hard, persevere and give their best every day.
My Project
These materials will be used to directly help students stay active while moving and playing together. We love to move and dance to music and a new speaker will help up continue to burn calories in PE and at recess. New sidewalk chalk will help give us something creative and cooperative to do while at recess. The cones will help us move and exercise while in groups. The more we have to allow us to be creative and to keep us active and busy, the healthier we can become each day.
