This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am currently in a 1st Grade classroom and is finding ways to develop my students social skills and trying to boost their self-confidence. I develop a program inside my classroom that involves singing and dancing which helps the students be engage and express more their thoughts and emotions. Singing and dancing help them with reading as well as I let them sing using a karaoke version of a song that would allow them to see the spelling words and would give them an opportunity to read it in a very fun way!
