This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are fundraising for essential supplies for our band classes. We are in need of more clarinet and saxophone mouthpieces and ligatures. Ligatures hold the reed onto the mouthpiece.

With quality supplies, students will be able to play their instruments more easily and make progress faster.

These mouthpieces and ligatures are important for students to receive the best music education possible. It will also allow us to expand our music program and have more students in the band classes.

The students in our music program are highly motivated and love playing their instruments. Many stay after school multiple times a week to practice or practice at home. We take field trips to competitions and play concerts here at the school. Thank you for supporting us!
