Help me give my students access to the best possible robotics classes and engineering experiences!

My Students

My students work in design teams to engineer solutions to problems that span the different disciplines of engineering from civil, electrical, and software engineering to robotics and aeronautics.

My robotics and engineering classes are comprised of 9-12th grade students who are motivated, creative and engaged when it comes to the challenges that my class offers them.

I try to provide authentic engineering challenges that model real world experiences. My students feel the most accomplished when they have persevered through many challenges to arrive at a successful solution.

My Project

My robotics class works to design and code different robots for specific challenges. The challenges are meant to push students into more and more complex builds and more proficient syntactic coding. As the class is in its third year, we are in need of replacement parts as sensors fail and other things break. My engineering classes are very dependent on consumables for prototyping, We make large cardboard gliders, engineered cardboard furniture, pinhole cameras and initial invention iterations that are 3-d printed. We blow through any budget pretty quickly!

Having these materials would allow my students to build without restrictions, their imaginations would be their only limit!
