it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students LOVE music class, and since they come from disadvantaged demographics, the skills they learn in music class help with their learning in all other subject areas. I see all 587 students in my school each week, and I am always amazed at their resilience, capability to thrive despite their disadvantages, and ability to maintain positive attitudes.
These materials will add to the diverse ways in which music students create, perform, interact with and learn about music!
Using body, mind, and spirit to learn is far more effective than just one aspect alone. These flexible items appeal to a wide variety of learning styles and can be used in a variety of ways.
