I believe it is important for students to know that hard work always pays off. In my classroom I strive to promote responsibility and accountability within my students.
My students work very hard and deserve the opportunity to be rewarded and motivated to continue to grow in their learning!
They practice important strategies and techniques that help them become successful both inside and out of the classroom. They are inspired to be good citizens and practice kindness and support for their fellow classmates. It is always such a joy to see the students grow and it means so much to me to be able to reward them for working so hard.
This will be the 4th year I have used the "K buck" store in my classroom. At the end of each month the students get to go shopping for rewards with the money they have earned. They learn responsibility by keeping up with their "money" and by finding ways to earn more money for the things they want.
I will use the materials from this project to supply my store with rewards for my students. This has been a great real life experience with money management, responsibility, and self motivation!
