Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students face daily challenges outside of the classroom that occupy their mind preventing them from being successful academically. The posters on my list are to provide motivation and to let them know they are not alone in with their struggles, that there is a way out. The snacks are to help the students fill their hungry needs so they can concentrate on their learning. The treats are to reward their hard work and celebrate their successes. The fridge is to keep some of the perishables fresh. Most of my kids are first generation graduates in their family and education is a way for them to break the cycle.
