My Project

This year has been a very challenging year for me. I have had a very hard time motivating the students to put their best effort and to complete their homework so that they can practice what they learn. Some have limited parental support. The best way I have found that has motivated these little 9 year old is extrinsic motivation like the requested fidget items and plush toys.

Being that our school is a Title I school, many of these students don't have many enjoyable items of their own.

Being able to provide this for them really motivates them to work for it so that they are able to earn it. I have provided rewards for them earlier, however they were so motivated they have already almost earned all my rewards I had, therefore it's time to replenish my supply.

Please help me replenish my supply to keep these students motivated to keep on learning. I love seeing the smile on their face when they work so hard to earn their rewards.
