This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach the final stretch of the school year, keeping students motivated, focused, and engaged becomes more challenging — especially during state testing season. This project aims to provide students with snacks during long testing days and fun incentives, like toys and candy, for our classroom store to reward positive behavior, effort, and academic growth.

Healthy snacks will give students the energy and focus they need to do their best on high-stakes assessments.

Many of my students benefit from having small treats to look forward to, especially when faced with testing anxiety or fatigue. In addition to snacks, the classroom store filled with prizes will serve as a powerful motivator for students to stay on track academically and behaviorally as the year winds down. Earning rewards for hard work, kindness, and perseverance helps foster a positive classroom environment and encourages students to give their best effort.

By funding this project, you will directly support student motivation, well-being, and academic success during one of the most challenging parts of the year. Together, we can help students finish strong and feel proud of their accomplishments!
