My Project
My hope is to motivate students through learning that is engaging, hands-on and offers flexibility, of thinking, and of the body. With many students being out of the classroom through the pandemic, students have lost the motivation to challenge themselves as thinkers.
I would like to use tools such as mathematics manipulatives to build students' math and problem-solving skills.
Likewise, reading materials have encouraged classroom and peer discussion across all subject areas and fostered student curiosity.
Lastly, my students are motivated when they are given opportunities to make their own choices. Flexible seating options allow students to problem solve and consider strategies that help them to be successful learners.
