Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how eager my students are to learn and how motivated they become when given opportunities to take ownership of their success. My students are creative, hardworking, and full of energy, and they thrive when learning is hands-on and engaging. They also enjoy challenges and competitions, which bring out their best efforts both individually and as a team.

The candy I’m requesting will serve as a reward in our classroom auction, which is an integral part of our classroom economy system.

Students earn classroom money by completing jobs, winning competitions, and demonstrating positive behavior. By using candy as auction items, I can provide an exciting, tangible incentive that keeps students motivated and invested in their success. This system also teaches them important life skills such as saving, budgeting, and making thoughtful decisions.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where students are excited to learn and actively participate. I want them to develop responsibility, financial literacy, and a sense of accomplishment as they earn and spend their classroom currency. The auction provides a fun and memorable way to reinforce these lessons.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their willingness to rise to challenges. They work hard to earn their rewards, and they take pride in their achievements. With your help, we can make the auction even more rewarding and meaningful for them!
