Help me give my students a flexible environment through flexible seating, so they can learn better, feel comfortable and focused on meeting classroom expectations.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Soon I will have some amazing students who will start taking 3rd grade classes in their native language. They are participatory, creative and enthusiastic.
I want to provide them with a space where they feel confident, motivated to learn, where they feel committed to following expectations, and know that they are important and the teacher looks for the best option for them and their education.
That's why I want to create a classroom where they have the option to choose their seat, which is not only the classic school chairs, but a flexible seat, because it is known that flexible seats Flexible seating also helps build core strength, burns calories, and increases metabolism. The physical activity that is associated with a variety of seating arrangements allows students to be more alert and focused.
