Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are awesome! Despite the pandemic and their fear in math, my students have been showing up to class every day trying to pass the one class they fear: Algebra 2!

Many of these students have failed both Algebra 1 and Geometry, but, since we cannot fight the system, they are enrolled in Algebra 2.

With these incentives, I hope to reward my students to make their learning journey successful as I acknowledge their effort along the way.

These incentives will be used as rewards to give each student when he/she show mastery of each learning target by passing the assessment with at least 70%. Additionally, my goal is to provide the students with a welcoming environment that includes a colorful tree that celebrates all holidays.
