Motivate My Students!

I need help covering a portion of the cost to attend Ron Clark Academy, so I can learn new strategies from a refreshed teacher, so my students can learn social skills and become highly motivated.

My Students

I have 24 students who come from a variety of backgrounds. I have been teaching for 26 years, and love coming to school every day. That's because every day I see how I'm making a difference. I know that I am continually changing along with the students and education, but the experience that the Ron Clark Academy has to offer will impact me and the team I work with. I cannot wait to come back from this professional development experience with the innovative techniques I will share, especially the 21st century soft skills and motivational skills!

My Project

I want to go to Ron Clark Academy because I have watched his videos of teaching, read his books, and I want to see the classes in action! My students are wonderful, and they deserve a teacher who will do all she/he can to find all the resources available to make their educational experience count, every day. I am super charged to see in action at the Ron Clark Academy the way the students are motivated, work cooperatively, and how social skills are incorporated throughout the day. This is KEY in our students' lives today. Each day in class, I want to give manners' lessons and more. I try to incorporate as much of that as I can. Every day counts, but every minute, second counts in the day at school.
