My Students
I teach at a school of about 415 students of which over 90% are on free lunch. Our kids have every possibility of a positive future in their lives through hard word, dedication and determination. We are in North Texas and about 45% of our students are English Language Learners. Many are still the first generation of their family to get an education here in the United States. Many of our students come eager to learn while they learn all their core subjects as well as the English language.
My Project
Interactive Learning Works!! Nearpod is a tool which helps bring learning to life by making the learning interactive. With Nearpod, every student in the class has a voice by giving teachers the tools needed to create interactive, engaging lessons, as well as thousands of ready to teach lessons built on research-based instructional models, all in one place. Students get the opportunity to interact with the presentations and learning in the class. And with the use of their kindle, learning can be personally adapted to each student as well as allowing each students to voice their answers and thinking via technology.
