Mosquito Be Gone!

Help me give my students a mosquito zapper and repellent to keep them safe from bites both in the classroom and on the farm.

My Project

The mosquitos have been super horrendous this year because it's been such a wet summer. These pesky bugs buzz in your ears, bite every exposed piece of skin and just wreak havoc at all times of day and night.

Dengue and Zika are two diseases spread by mosquitos in Hawaii, and although the number of cases has drastically declined over the years, there can always be an upsurge when no one is paying attention.

The bug zapper will help to keep mosquito numbers down on the farm and the repellent will keep them away from the classroom while we are doing classwork.

These mosquito combatants will help keep us bug free when school starts in August so that we can do our gardening and classroom assignments in peace!
