Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At the end of this school year, my hope is that each student can combine all of what I've taught them into their final art piece, a mosaic project. Students will be introduced to how the art skills relates to life outside the classroom through reimagining what is an art material.
Students may think they are restricted by the supplies they have access to around them, but this project expands what is possible for students to use creatively.
I am requesting mixed glass mosaic tiles for students to help with their mosaic project to beautify our campus.
It challenges them to look at objects in creative ways and put them together into a larger, cohesive pictures.
