I have requested Morpheme Magic books, assessments, and cards to help my students become captivated by words as we explore the world of language and morphology. Research has shown that morphological awareness impacts reading comprehension in a positive way. Students are able to better comprehend what they read when they understand what word parts mean.
Morpheme Magic and Morphemes for Little Ones will allow my students to become word scientists where they will develop deep word knowledge through the study of morphemes.
These materials will promote curiosity about how words work. I can't wait to learn about morphemes with my students!
