This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These morning tubs will provide daily opportunities for all the students to explore, create, build, and collaborate in multiple areas of learning. I want to move away from paper and pencil morning work and make their learning meaningful with hands-on games and activities, like tangrams, magnetic tiles, and stencils. Soft morning starts like these not only engage students actively in the learning process but also help set a positive tone for the rest of the day, fostering a sense of excitement and curiosity in the classroom. By offering stimulating and interactive activities, students can ease into the school day, promoting a relaxed and focused learning environment from the very beginning.
