Morning STEM Bins

Help me give my students a LEGO-type table, STEM Explorers Magnet Movers, STEM Explorers Brainometry set, and other STEM bin building materials for engaging, engineering tasks.

My Project

I have the pleasure of teaching a fantastic group of second graders who love learning and exploring their creativity. Every morning, students get to choose their desired materials and work together during our breakfast/arrival time to begin their day. This soft start allows students to begin their day with collaboration and creativity which sets the tone for the rest of our learning which has been a game changer for my neurodivergent students.

A LEGO building table and more STEM building materials in our classroom will improve our soft start morning routine by providing additional opportunities for collaboration and creativity.

These additional building materials will offer more exploration choices for designing and engineering. The LEGO table will provide a dedicated space and storage for one of our most popular STEM bin activities.
